Yes. All of our therapists adhere to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework. There are some very rare exceptions which may require your therapist to break confidentiality for example, if you express a serious wish to harm yourself or others. Confidentiality is explained in detail within a document that will be provided to you and discussed within your first appointment.
This depends on you and how long you would like therapy to last for. Many people find it helpful to arrange six weekly sessions and then review their progress with their therapist.
Usually people attend therapy weekly. However, if you feel you’d like to attend more/less frequently, this can usually be arranged within your initial appointment.
Yes. All our qualified counsellors are fully insured and registered with the Information Commissions Office. Our team are all members of The British Association for counselling and psychotherapy which provides the therapist with an ethical framework and a complaints procedure for clients.
